How to set up wireless at UVA
- Connect your wireless connection to “UVA WiFi Setup”
- Open a web browser and go to ITS Network Setup
- Click How to Connect to UVA Wireless Networks
- Click "Get UVA WiFi/Digital Certificate" for in the box labeled Faculty, Staff, & Students
- Follow the prompts with the UVA Network Setup Tool. The tool will determine the operating system of your computer and guide you through the process of setting up your wireless connection
- When complete, you will be connected to eduroam
- If you have any difficulties, please call the ITS Help Desk at 434-924-HELP (4357)
For Mac Users: Options for Anti-Virus software
It is recommended that you install an anti-virus program on your computer. Below are free options available to you for a Mac-based anti-virus program. Additionally, you can chose one of your own. Please note: While Cavalier Computers recommends installing an anti-virus program, we assume no responsibility for any of the following programs and direct any questions or issues to the manufacturers of the programs.
